A dead-simple weight tracker that shows your progress against your goal — and tells you, every day, whether you're on track.
Set a start weight, a goal weight, and either a goal date or how much you want to lose per week — half a pound to three, and the goal date is worked out for you. Either way that draws one fixed straight line that never moves. Weigh in each morning and log the raw number: at or under today's point on the line, you're on track; over it by half a pound or less, you're close; over it by more, eat less today. That's the whole system. Inspired by the Steve Ward Diet (the "bang-bang servo diet"), devised in the 1980s at MIT.
